Aluminum alloy doors and Windows have been widely used in modern buildings because of their good corrosion resistance, light weight, high strength and beautiful appearance. The installation of aluminum alloy doors and Windows seems complicated, but as long as you master the correct steps, you can easily get it done. Here are four basic steps for installing aluminum doors and Windows to help you easily complete the installation task.
12
First, the preparation stage

Measurement and Planning:

Use a tape measure to accurately measure the size of the door and window opening to ensure that the purchased aluminum doors and Windows match the size of the opening.

According to the measurement results and design requirements, plan the installation positions of doors and Windows, and mark the installation lines.

Materials and tools:

Prepare the aluminum alloy doors and Windows, installation accessories (such as screws, expansion plugs, etc.), sealing rubber strips, and glass glue.

Prepare necessary installation tools, such as an electric drill, screwdriver, hammer, and level.

Second, door and window positioning and installation frame

Locating doors and Windows:

Use a level and marker to mark the installation lines of the doors and Windows inside the hole, ensuring that the doors and Windows are horizontal and vertical.

Use wooden wedges or foam blocks to temporarily secure the window and door frames for the next adjustment.

Mounting frame:

According to the size and weight of the doors and Windows, choose the appropriate installation method (such as expansion screw fixing, embedded parts welding, etc.).

Use an electric drill to drill holes in the door and window frame and the opening wall, and then install expansion screws or embedded parts to fix the door and window frame to the opening.

Adjust the position of the window and door frames to ensure that the doors and Windows are horizontal and vertical, then fasten the frames to the walls using screws.

Third, install hardware accessories and glass

Install hardware accessories:

According to the opening mode of the door and window (such as flat opening, push and pull, etc.), select the appropriate hardware accessories for installation.

Use a screwdriver to secure hardware to the door and window frames. Ensure that hardware is securely installed and flexibly used.

Install glass:

If Windows and doors need to be glazed, first put the glass into the glass groove of the window and door frame, and then use sealing strips or glass glue to fix the glass to the frame.

Ensure that the glass is installed smoothly, does not shake, and has good sealing performance.

Fourth, sealing and debugging

Sealing treatment:

Use sealing rubber strips or foam to fill the gap between the window frame and the wall of the opening to ensure the sealing performance of the door and window.

Apply glass glue around the frame of the door and window to enhance the waterproof performance of the door and window.

Debugging and inspection:

Gently open and close the doors and Windows to check whether the opening of the doors and Windows is flexible and smooth, and whether the hardware accessories are used normally.

Through the above four steps, you can easily complete the installation of aluminum doors and Windows. During the installation process, ensure that the tools and materials used comply with relevant standards. If you encounter any problems or difficulties during the installation, please consult professionals or manufacturer technical support in time.
Check the sealing performance of doors and Windows to ensure that there is no air leakage and water leakage.

Use a level to check the levelness and verticality of the doors and Windows to ensure that the doors and Windows are installed smoothly.
